About the role
The Route Service Supervisor position at UniFirst is an entry-level management role designed for individuals interested in advancing their careers. This role oversees the training and development of a team of Route Service Representatives, responds to service requests, negotiates customer contract renewals, builds strong relationships with customers and team members, and works closely with all other leadership and management team members to provide exceptional customer service and product programs. Additionally, the Route Service Supervisor is responsible for providing route coverage when a Route Service Representative is absent.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the training and development of a team of Route Service Representatives
- Respond to service requests
- Negotiate customer contract renewals
- Build strong relationships with your customers and team
- Work closely with all other leadership and management team members to provide the best customer service and product programs
- Provide route coverage when a Route Service Representative is sick or on vacation
Requirements
- A results-driven, relationship manager who enjoys helping the team and customers
- An individual ready to learn and grow into a customer service and loyalty expert
- A high school diploma or GED, with some college education preferred
- A valid non-commercial driver's license in the state of residence
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer proficiency
- Prior leadership, customer service, route sales, delivery, or entrepreneurial experience preferred
