Route Manager

About the role

The Route Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a fleet of vehicles, ensuring efficient delivery of services to customers while adhering to company policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the scheduling and dispatch of vehicles to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Monitor vehicle performance and maintenance needs, coordinating with the Fleet Maintenance team.
• Manage customer relationships, resolving issues and complaints in a professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize service delivery and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in fleet management or related field.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with fleet management software systems.
• Knowledge of local and state regulations applicable to fleet operations.

Pay

$60,000 - $70,000 / year

Schedule
