Route Auditor

Responsibilities

• Identify potential operational efficiencies and implement new processes to improve performance.
• Develop a working knowledge of the driver’s day-to-day hauling operations including route auditing, analysis, and improvement recommendations.
• Work with all departments to identify improvements that will aid in route efficiency and profitability.
• Attend driver safety meetings to promote a positive working relationship among all employees.
• Review customer account information for accuracy.
• Complete and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports, as directed.
• Enhance the company’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Afford assistance with other related duties, as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to perform route observations using a company pickup and ride-along with drivers.
• Physical demands include moderate noise (business office with computers, phones, and printers), light traffic, ability to work in a confined area, and frequent sitting, standing, lifting up to 10 pounds, and working with hands.
• Essential to have excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook Software Skills.
