Rotogravure Production Worker 3rd shift 12a-8a.m. (40630)

General Responsibilities

• To operate the parts washer and all tasks associated with supplying the press with clean parts for production.
• To perform routine preventative maintenance on the parts washer to ensure it is fit for production at all times.
• To properly handle all non-hazardous materials (i.e., waste) leaving the department.
• To remove all trash and scrap from the department to the appropriate destinations.
• To maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• To perform all other appropriate duties as assigned by the management team and permitted by existing union contract language.

Qualifications

• The working knowledge of operating the parts washer in the Shrink Printing Department.
• The ability to work as a team.
• The ability to maintain clean parts to keep up with production.
• The ability to multitask.
• Good communication skills.
• Good physical strength (to effectively handle parts for loading and unloading the parts washer).
• A High School Diploma.
• The ability to work overtime and any 5 day or 6 day continuous operation schedule as outlined in the contract.
