Rotogravure Production Worker 2nd shift 4p.m.-Midnight (41298)

Responsibilities

To perform all job duties associated with the support of the Shrink Printing Department.

• To operate the parts washer and all task associated with the supplying the press with clean parts for production.
• To perform routine preventative task to the parts washer that maintain the unit for fit for production at all times.
• Proper handling of all non-hazardous materials (i.e. waste) leaving the department.
• The removal of all trash and scrap from the department to the appropriate destinations.
• To maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• All other appropriate duties as assigned by the management team and permitted by existing union contract language.

Qualifications

• The working knowledge of operating the parts washer in the Shrink Printing Department, the ability to work as a team, and to maintain clean parts to keep up with production.
• The ability to multitask, good communication skills, and good physical strength (to effectively handle parts for loading and unloading the parts washer), and pass a recent color blind test.
• A High School Diploma and the ability to work overtime and any 5 day or 6 day continuous operation schedule as outlined in the contract.
