Roto Mold Operator - PlayCore Southern Fulfillment Center

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Enter process parameters into RotoMold machine computer
• Weigh up necessary powder
• Operate and maintain molds
• Operate necessary equipment and/or machinery to produce a quality plastic part
• Complete secondary operations of plastic parts as required
• Responsible for Rotomold Associate 1, mold prep, machine operator, pack, assembly

Qualifications

• 1 year experience (preferred)
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to visually distinguish different colors
• Promotes the Company’s mission and values-based culture
• Maintain productivity by accurately identifying, processing, and completing both molding and secondary operations
• Manage process, identification, packaging, and storage of equipment for inventory
• Accurately report daily production
• Manage stamina for long hours on their feet, often in hot conditions
• Have dexterity to work with hands and lift/handle heavy items
• Pay attention to detail and quality control
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Read and understand work schedules, blueprints, and meet daily production goals

Skills

• Basic computer skills
• Forklift operator
• Hoist operator (plus)
• Tape measure reading

Physical Demands

• Frequent walking and sitting
• Use hands and fingers, handle or feel
• Reach with hands and arms
• Talk or listen
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds often
• Stand for 10-12 hours per shift
• Close vision and ability to adjust focus

Work Environment

• Manufacturing environment with PPE required (steel toed shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs)
• Noise level in the work environment is usually manufacturing environment
