Roto Mold Operator - 1st Shift

Job Summary

The Roto Mold Associate is responsible for setting up roto molds for production and removing finished products from the molds, while ensuring that quality specifications are met.

About the Role

This position involves assembling and disassembling molds, monitoring roto mold machines, removing and cleaning excess material, inspecting product for quality control, testing product for defects, assisting with material, color, and product change procedures, customizing and labeling finished products, cutting wires, and wrapping product.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and disassembles molds.
• Maintains safety procedures and guidelines when using equipment.
• Follows established procedures while performing tasks, using tools, and handling materials.
• Communicates effectively with other team members.
• Ensures reliability and consistency in attendance, punctuality, and task completion.
• Lifts and moves objects weighing up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis, and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Works in a warehouse environment exposed to varying temperatures, inclement weather conditions, dirt, dust, moderate noise levels, and fast-paced environments.

Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines when using equipment.
• The ability to follow established procedures while performing tasks, using tools, and handling materials.
• Carefully consider and follow instructions to complete tasks and deliver required results.
• Reliability and consistency of attendance, punctuality, and completion of assigned tasks according to established standards and expectations with little supervision.

Qualifications

Must be able to bend, twist, and reach while handling objects and using power and hand tools. Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis, and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment. Will be working in a warehouse environment and may be exposed to varying temperatures and inclement weather conditions. There will also be frequent exposure to dirt and dust. Exposure to moderate noise levels in the workplace for the majority of the day, due to the constant use of forklift and hand-held power tools.
