Rotation Assistant I PT - STEM

About the role

Daybreak Elementary is seeking a kind, patient, responsible, and highly organized STEM Teacher who takes initiative to work with K–6th graders. This role focuses on collaborating with classroom teachers to deliver engaging, hands-on STEM lessons while maintaining excellent classroom management. We are looking for a dedicated professional committed to teamwork and student growth.

Requirements

• One (1) year of experience working in a classroom setting
• Associate’s degree, 48 semester hours from an accredited college, or passage of the ParaPro assessment
• Completion of an online classroom management training within the first 30 calendar days of employment

Preferred

• Experience as a licensed educator
• Experience in PE, STEM, or Fine Arts

Advancement

• Rotation Assistant I (Lane 3)
• Rotation Assistant II (Lane 4) – Eligible after one year as Rotation Assistant I and 20 hours of advanced training in PE, STEM, or Fine Arts provided by the Teaching & Learning department
• Rotation Assistant III (Lane 5) – Eligible for current or former licensed teachers
