Overview & Responsibilities
The role involves recommending and implementing repairs for various industrial and rotating equipment, including compressors, turbines, and similar machinery. Key responsibilities include documenting, erecting, altering, installing, aligning, repairing, replacing, disassembling, and reassembling equipment, as well as moving and inspecting it safely and efficiently.
- Promotes safety and quality at all times.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Conducts themselves in a professional manner when interacting with internal and external customers.
- Uses appropriate equipment, tooling, drawings, work scopes, procedures, specifications, and documentation to perform the primary function.
- Has advanced knowledge and accuracy in using various measuring devices such as micrometers, indicators, calipers, gauges, and other required tools.
- Able to accurately measure and record critical clearances and dimensions on turbines, compressors, and other equipment.
- Able to pass the annual dimensional inspection test.
- Understands and processes documentation related to turbo machinery such as inspection reports, photo logs, and hold tags.
- Advanced knowledge of lifting, rigging, crane, and forklift operations.
- Able to help train other hourly employees in repair processes and procedures.
- Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Accepts ownership over work performance and stays updated on job knowledge and new skill development.
