Rope Access RT Technicians - Corpus Christi, TX

Location: Corpus Christi, TX

Duration: Approximately 6 months (Start: September 2026; Expected completion: March 2027 or later)

Major Responsibilities/Activities

• Train RT assistant, run the film and grade the film per specific procedures directed by the customer.
• Set up and calibrate equipment; interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
• Maintain thorough familiarity with the scope and limitations of qualified methods and provide on‑the‑job training and guidance to trainees and NDT Level I personnel.
• Organize and report the results of NDT tests.
• Generate NDT data, organize data, and report findings.
• Evaluate data for disposition.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or college credits preferred.
• Current ASNT NDE Level II certificate in the responsible NDT method (Radiographic Testing) and adequate knowledge of that method.
• Rope Access certification required; Level 2 certification in CR preferred.
• Proven ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.
• Proven ability to prioritize and complete work assignments by specific deadlines.
• Proven ability to follow and communicate precise directions and procedures of the customer on the project.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to generate technical data orally, in writing, and electronically as required.
