About the role
The Omni Viking Lakes Hotel is a 320-room luxury hotel located within the Viking Lakes mixed-use development, adjacent to the Minnesota Vikings headquarters, Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center, and TCO Stadium. The hotel offers extensive meeting and event spaces, including a 7,500-square-foot ballroom, a 4,410-square-foot event center, and six two-story hospitality lounges.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all arriving and departing guests are treated with maximum courtesy and served expeditiously.
- Maintain continuous liaison with Management, Reservations, and Housekeeping staff to guarantee quality services that exceed guest expectations.
- Be alert to potential problems and malfunctions of hospitality services and make on-the-spot corrections, and complete second efforts.
- Participate with other members of management in developing plans to deliver special services to selected targeted markets.
- Oversee Loyalty Ambassadors daily tasks.
- Be involved in resolving as many guests' complaints as possible.
- Supervise Bell, Door, Valet Staff, Concierge, and Loyalty Ambassador.
- Ensure Guest Services meet 4- diamond expectation to include: being knowledgeable of all hotel offerings, hours of operations, hotel directionals, proper verbiage/greetings.
- Monitor and update Guest Services Medallia Tracking Board.
- Perform Success Checklist for Bell, Valet, and Concierge staff.
- Performs MOS monthly audits.
- Collaborate with accounting team by solving discrepancies with charges related to guests and groups.
- Aid Management team with Open Folios from guests.
- Aids in OST Meeting content and agenda.
- Aids in Dispatch of Bell Up and Bell Down requests.
- Support Front Office Team during break, peak periods with assisting guests at all times in all areas.
- Support and possibly assist in transporting guests and/or groups throughout the property.
- Contact Transportation various transportation companies to assist with arranging guests' transportation.
- Attend Weekly Resume, Rooms, and Leadership Meetings.
- Schedule in Kronos, edit to payroll, complete gratuity spreadsheet for portage gratuities.
- Aid Sales department in order to assist with any room blocks and changes related to them.
- Oversee/conduct inventory of guest supplies and Concierge supplies and order as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Prior hospitality experience required.
- Ability to teach, develop, and motivate others.
- Must have the ability to multi-task.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have an excellent driving record (less than 2 moving violations in the last two years).
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift 50 lbs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Pay
Salary for this position starts at $18.00/hour. Additional associate benefits include discounts at the spa and restaurants, discounted rates at other Omni properties, corporate discounts, continued education opportunities, and more.
