Rooms Controller

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage room availability, reservations, and occupancy levels to optimize hotel revenue
• Cookorate with front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and address any issues promptly
• Update and maintain accurate records of room status, bookings, and cancellations in the property management system
• Forecast room demand and adjust inventory accordingly
• Handle guest inquiries related to reservations and room availability professionally and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and standards related to room management
• Prepare reports on occupancy rates, revenue, and other key performance indicators for management review

Skills And Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel operations, reservations, or room management preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in property management systems and MS Office Suite
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary
• Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
