Room Service Associate, Resource Pool, First Shift

About the role

Responsible for the management of nursing unit bulk nourishment inventories including ordering, delivering, and rotating. Responsible for keeping the unit nourishment kitchens tidy. Supports the Room Service line and clean side of the dish room as needed. These responsibilities contribute to meeting the nutrition needs of the patients and all others served.

Responsibilities

• Manage nursing unit bulk nourishment inventories including ordering, delivering, and rotating
• Keep unit nourishment kitchens tidy
• Uphold all DHEC/DNV regulations regarding food safety, patient identification, facility upkeep, cleaning and sanitation
• Relay identified problems to Supervisor
• Support the Room Service line and clean side of the dish room as needed
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in work according to sanitation policies/procedures/logs
• Always uphold and practice proper personal and hand hygiene
• Complete any other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Coordinator, Lead or Management

Schedule

• 6:30AM–7:30PM
• 4 weekdays and every other weekend
• Must be flexible with schedule times
