About the role
This position is responsible for cleaning guestrooms to B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group quality standards, assisting guests with friendly and professional service, and adhering to health and safety regulations while following Best Western’s high standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Clean and ensure necessary amenities and supplies are stocked in guest rooms.
- Maintain cleanliness of carts, linens, rooms, and equipment to ensure everything is in working order.
- Deliver high-quality guest service, respond to requests promptly, and contribute to guest satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to meet guest and operational needs.
- Follow Best Western’s guest service recovery program.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment in compliance with brand, local, state, and federal regulations.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance needs and report any issues.
- Safely use and handle chemicals within the housekeeping department.
- Follow all procedures for guest and team member incidents and adhere to hotel emergency protocols.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize work duties to meet productivity standards.
- Adhere to attendance policies, grooming and appearance standards, and department procedures.
- Attend required department and hotel meetings.
- Properly use and maintain all equipment and supplies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Housekeeping or laundry experience preferred.
- Attention to detail and customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitious environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
- Significant bending required.
Pay
$17 - $17 an hour. The actual base pay offered is determined by qualifications, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and professional licenses.
