Room Attendant / Room Inspector - Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center

About the role

The Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center is seeking a Room Attendant / Room Inspector to join their housekeeping team. This full-time, year-round position plays a key part in delivering a comfortable and enjoyable stay for guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms according to hotel standards
• Change linens, make beds, and replenish towels and amenities
• Clean bathrooms, floors, and surfaces thoroughly
• Inspect cleaned rooms to ensure they meet company cleanliness and presentation standards
• Identify and correct any deficiencies prior to guest arrival
• Report maintenance issues or damaged items promptly
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, storage areas, and housekeeping spaces
• Ensure housekeeping carts and supplies are stocked and organized
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleaning protocols
• Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to meet daily room quotas and quality expectations

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify cleanliness and presentation issues
• Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
