About the role

The Room Attendant at Residence Inn Alexandria Old Town South is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas in the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain guest rooms and public areas in accordance with high standards.
• Prepare guest rooms for occupancy in a timely manner.
• Clean and replace linens, towels, and amenities according to property standards.
• Assist with the cleaning and upkeep of hotel public areas such as hallways, lounges, restrooms, and elevators.
• Respond courteously to guest requests related to housekeeping.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Show strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Show good physical stamina and time management skills.
• Be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds frequently.
• Be able to push/pull housekeeping carts and operate cleaning equipment.
