About the role

Hyatt Place Lexington is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This role is essential to delivering the clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment our guests expect.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms to Hyatt brand standards, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and refreshing amenities
• Replenish linens, towels, and guest supplies
• Respond to guest requests with a friendly, helpful attitude
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, storage areas, and housekeeping carts
• Work efficiently to meet daily room quotas while ensuring quality and consistency
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive, respectful work environment

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering excellent work
• Ability to work independently and stay motivated
• Dependability and strong time management skills
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• A positive attitude and commitment to great guest service
• Previous housekeeping experience is helpful but not required—we will train the right person

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers
• Basic computer skills (e.g., using email, internet)
