Room Attendant (Housekeeping)
About the role
The Room Attendant (Housekeeper) plays a crucial role in creating a clean and orderly environment for guests at Great Wolf Lodge. Their responsibilities include general cleaning and maintenance tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, item washing, trash collection, and proper sorting.
Responsibilities
- Making beds
- Dusting and vacuuming
- Cleaning bathrooms
- Replacing supplies
- Cleaning windows, mirrors, and patios
- Utilizing chemicals according to directions
- Maintaining a stocked, organized, and clean cart with sufficient supplies
- Reporting maintenance issues through appropriate channels
- Documenting and securing lost and found items
- Communicating professionally with guests
- Restocking housekeeping cart at the end of each shift
- Assisting House Attendants, including delivering guest requests and picking up used guest items
- Conserving energy by closing shades and draperies; turning down air conditioning and heat of unoccupied rooms
- Reporting hazardous conditions in the work area or equipment to supervisors
Requirements
Flexible scheduling is available, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen is required. Prior experience in housekeeping, sanitation, laundry operations, and guest services is preferred.
