Room Attendant / Hotel Housekeeper

Responsibilities

  • Replenish items in rooms for guest use, including but not limited to towels, linens, and amenities.
  • Accommodate and anticipate guests' needs, responding promptly and professionally.
  • Thoroughly clean the guest room and bathroom area as assigned (i.e., vacuuming, dusting, changing bed linen, emptying trash cans).
  • Report any maintenance needs or items left behind from the guest to the appropriate department.
  • Become familiar and knowledgeable with the hotel's safety and emergency procedures.
  • Meet hotel and company standards of cleanliness.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, more than 20 lbs. often housekeeper carts can weigh more than 30 lbs. or more to push, pull.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive motions.
  • Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
  • Detail-oriented individual who is able to focus his/her cleaning responsibilities, ensuring that each room setup is completed as required by the property.
  • Ability to maintain a composed, gracious, and professional attitude.
  • Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Schedule

This position is subject to a flexible schedule to meet business needs, typically 1st shift between 8am and 5pm, with weekend availability.

Pay

The pay range for this position is not specified, but competitive compensation is offered based on experience and qualifications.
