Room Attendant

The Westdrift Autograph Collection Hotel blends classic sophistication with contemporary chic in one of Southern California’s most desirable locations, just steps from boutique shopping, dining, and beach activities. This role supports the hotel’s 24/7 operations, requiring flexibility in shift days, start times, and weekly hours.

Responsibilities

• Stock housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies, equipment, and amenities to ensure readiness for each room.
• Follow knocking procedures before entering guest rooms.
• Clean assigned guest rooms thoroughly, including restocking amenities.
• Complete the housekeeping checklist for every room.
• Report clean rooms to supervisors for inspection.
• Identify and report damages, hazards, or maintenance issues (e.g., burned-out bulbs, broken furniture).
• Secure guest room doors after exiting.
• Maintain cleanliness in corridors and service areas.
• Turn in lost-and-found items and guest room keys.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
• Use protective equipment and report unsafe conditions, accidents, or property damage to management.
• Assist other housekeeping staff as needed.
• Perform additional duties as requested by management.

Requirements

• Ability to push heavy carts (up to 200 lbs).
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Strong verbal communication to interact with guests and team members.
• Visual inspection skills to assess room cleanliness and identify left-behind items.
• Manual dexterity for cleaning tasks and handling supplies.
• Written communication skills for documenting completed work.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per hotel standards.
