Roofing Service Technician

Flynn Group of Companies is hiring skilled Journeyman roofers for locations in Redmond, OR / Bend, OR / Prineville, OR. Pay ranges from $30-$50/hr depending on experience.

About the Role

As a Roofing Service Technician, you will locate leaks and perform quality roof repairs safely and efficiently while maintaining professionalism with customers and colleagues. Responsibilities include completing defined scope projects, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs across various commercial roofing systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and maintenance of commercial roofing systems (e.g., cold applied B.U.R., E.P.D.M., TPO/PVC membranes, tile, coatings, metal roof systems, sheet metal, and related accessories).
• Respond to emergency roof leaks or roof-related issues promptly.
• Perform inspections to identify root causes of issues (e.g., leaks, tears, clogs).
• Determine and execute the correct repair process for various roofing systems.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and provide recommendations.
• Use a mobile app to record, document, and report completed jobs.
• On-call availability for emergency repair services as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience with commercial roofing installations and/or repairs (TPO, PMMA, PVC, metal roofs, etc.) REQUIRED.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to inspect, remove, repair, and install commercial roofing components (e.g., flashings, patches, membranes).
• Safety-minded, team-oriented, and focused on customer service.
• On-call availability for emergency service calls (additional compensation provided).

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to gain access to prisons, schools, and other federal jobsites, contingent upon passing a job-related background check.
