Responsibilities

• Build roof trusses for Clayton Home Building Facilities according to cut sheets and blueprints that meet NTA-regulated standards.
• Check parts on assigned table/press to ensure proper set-up of jig, cord, parts, and nails as per individual truss blueprint.
• Ensure proper nail placement, overhang, and king post on every unit produced.
• Meet production requirements in a timely manner while maintaining quality.
• Repeatedly lift over 50 pounds.
• Operate a hydraulic press.
• Work effectively with a partner.
• Demonstrate honesty, integrity, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude while modeling teamwork.

Reports directly to Truss Team Leader and Truss Department Area Coordinator.
