About the role

The Delivery Material Handler / Roof Loader position at QXO, Inc. is responsible for safely unloading building products and shingles from a rooftop conveyor boom, and assisting with ground drop operations when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload building products and multiple bundles of shingles from a rooftop conveyor boom from first or second story rooftops
• In certain instances, assist with ground drop operations at the designated job site
• Verify order contents prior to loading them onto the delivery truck
• Aid in delivery operations
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, always wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements

• Access to a reliable mode of transportation to commute to the branch location
• Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus
• Attention to detail
• A strong commitment to learning and following all safety procedures
• A passion for working in a physically demanding, outdoor work setting

Qualifications

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
