About the role
The Delivery Material Handler / Roof Loader position at QXO, Inc. involves safely unloading building products and multiple bundles of shingles from a rooftop conveyor boom, assisting with ground drop operations, verifying order contents, and supporting delivery operations.
Responsibilities
- Safely unload building products and multiple bundles of shingles from a rooftop conveyor boom from first or second story rooftops
- In certain instances, assist with ground drop operations at the designated job site
- Verify order contents prior to loading them onto the delivery truck
- Assist with delivery operations
- Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE
Requirements
- Access to a reliable mode of transportation to commute to the branch location
- Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Attention to detail
- Strong commitment to learning and following all safety procedures
- Passion for thriving in a physically demanding, outdoor work setting
Qualifications
Physical demands include standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working at heights. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
Skills
Must have strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
Annual salary range: USD $16.56 - USD $19.44 /Hr.
