Responsibilities

• Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Physically handle and remove material from the Roll Form machine and stack it.
• Perform general labor duties including sweeping, shoveling, and general clean-up of any area and/or equipment.
• Maintain grounds clear of debris while upholding safety standards.
• Be willing to cross-train in other positions and assist other employees as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

• Prior experience working in the Roll Form Department.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work any shift as required, including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to work a modifiable schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working for a manufacturing company.
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
• Basic math skills to keep track of inventory.

Pay

$20.24 per hour, plus weekly production bonus.
