Rockmart Hourly Shipping and Receiving - 2nd and 3rd Shift

About the role

Tip Top Poultry - Rockmart, GA is seeking a Post Rockmart Hourly Shipping and Receiving position. The role involves ensuring food safety, quality, and legality, handling pallets, boxes, labels, and equipment, cleaning and organizing equipment, and assisting in other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food safety, quality, and legality.
• Load and unload trucks and transport products as required.
• Handle pallets, boxes, labels, and equipment properly.
• Clean, maintain, and organize required equipment, area, and trailers.
• Assist in other departmental areas as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day.
• Free use of hands and free range of arm movement.
• Ability to bend repeatedly at the waist for 8-10 hours per day.
• Safety to walk to and within the plant.
• Ability to properly wear personal protective equipment, sanitary equipment, and any other equipment necessary for certain departments.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in cold temperatures (usually 0-45 degrees Fahrenheit).

Pay

• $13.40 - $14.50/hour ($16.50 - 17.50 with attendance bonus included).

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 6:30 AM to Finish.
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM to Finish.
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM to Finish.
