Rochelle Foods - Maintenance Mechanic 2nd/3rd Shift 2026

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Perform proactive and reactive maintenance on all production equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Use knowledge and skill to produce equipment and modify existing equipment to meet the needs of the production teams.
• Identify and solve problems independently while keeping supervisors, maintenance engineers, and fellow team members informed of progress.
• Follow food safety procedures in accordance with Rochelle Foods, LLC’s policies.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must not require employer sponsorship for a work visa.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

Qualifications

• Previous relevant experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, or related field, or training at an accredited technical school preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment on a variety of complex projects.
• Well-developed interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Completion of technical training at an accredited technical school for industrial maintenance/mechanic preferred.
• 6+ months experience working as an industrial maintenance mechanic, preferably in a food production facility preferred.

Schedule

• Vacancies are typically on 2nd or 3rd shift with opportunities for overtime.
• Weekend work is required.
