Robotics Vision Software Engineer

About the role

Build and deploy computer vision systems for robotics applications, focusing on perception, navigation, and planning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize software systems for perception, navigation, and planning using computer vision
• Lead scalable, high-performance computer vision pipelines including model integration and deployment
• Translate research into production-ready solutions ensuring safety and reliability
• Create metrics, evaluation frameworks, and testing infrastructure to assess system performance
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to integrate machine learning and computer vision models into production systems

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience; experience mentoring or leading teams
• 5+ years of programming in at least one language
• Experience in system design, architecture, and scaling
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, or related field

Preferred Skills

• Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Experience with model deployment tools
• Experience with real-time or embedded systems
• Proven track record in research publications or patents
