Responsibilities

• Design and implement robotics software modules using ROS/ROS2, Python, and C++
• Build perception pipelines with camera/LiDAR/radar inputs and sensor fusion
• Develop SLAM, localization, and mapping strategies for robust navigation
• Implement motion planning and trajectory generation with constraints
• Tune control loops, state estimation, and validate performance metrics
• Create simulation and test harnesses to reproduce field issues and prevent regressions
• Define logging, telemetry, debugging workflows, and document interfaces/safety considerations
• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams across time zones

Requirements

• Mid-senior experience delivering robotics systems or autonomy features
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python
• Experience with ROS/ROS2 nodes, topics, services, TF, and launch systems
• Knowledge of kinematics, dynamics, controls, SLAM/localization, and computer vision fundamentals
• Ability to analyze logs, run experiments, and validate performance in simulation and real deployments

Pay

$30–$50 per hour (USD, HOURLY base pay)
