Robotic Servicing Co-Op Intern

Responsibilities

• Supporting test facility setup and testing of new robotic systems
• Create CAD models of test facilities at Goddard Space Flight Center or of mission environments
• Develop tools to analyze robot performance or reach and access
• Design and 3D print interactive scale models of mission spacecraft and robots

Requirements

• Experience with CAD software, particularly CREO or Blender
• Experience designing and fabricating parts
• Experience with Linux, Python, or Robot Operating System (ROS)
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems, work independently, and take initiative
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
