Responsibilities
- Program robots for our painting and coating robots both online and offline to ensure even coating thickness and top-quality surface quality through precise path planning.
- Prepares and verifies your curves in advance using simulation tools like PaintPRO, including collision detection and cycle time analysis.
- Supports customer trials from preparation to execution, operates robot systems in the workshop and at the customer site, and finalizes programs in real processes until test runs and acceptance (FAT/SAT) are successfully completed.
- Collaborates closely with the project team, application technology (coating), SPS programming, construction, and electrical engineering to document your programs and processes meticulously.
Requirements
- You have a degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or automation technology, or a comparable qualification.
- You have experience with robotic systems, preferably with a focus on KUKA, and are proficient in trajectory planning and kinematics.
- Experience with coating simulations (e.g., PaintPRO) is desirable, you have SPS basics and knowledge of industrial bus systems, and you have a good understanding of coating processes.
- You have excellent German or English skills and can travel up to 30%.

- Programming and operation of robotic systems.
