About the role
The Robotaxi Operations Advisor oversees compliance, regulatory interactions, and logistical processes to ensure Tesla's operational fleet runs smoothly and adheres to all requirements. This role supports vehicle activation, daily operations, and team collaboration, helping to prevent delays and optimize resource allocation in a fast-paced environment. The right person is hungry to dive into critical challenges, breaking down silos, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams across Tesla to drive the business forward and optimize for vehicle uptime.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding support via phone, email, and chat, helping customers reunite with lost items and document interactions within Tesla’s CRM and Vehicle Support systems
- Develop and launch new processes, tools, and resources that improve customer experience, build brand loyalty, and optimize fleet uptime
- Conduct troubleshooting to quickly assess concerns and employ a first-principles approach to find creative solutions
- Dive into data to uncover opportunities to reduce waste in processes, vehicle uptime, and improve customer experience
- Manage compliance and coordinate with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to keep vehicle registrations, plates, and paperwork current and accurate
- Work closely with cross-functional internal and external teams to align strategies and goals that includes routing work to the appropriate channels for support
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to meet current and future business needs
Requirements
- Analytical mindset and courage to question the status quo – ability to ask structured questions and quantify impact if you recognize an opportunity to improve
- Solid understanding of DMV processes, regulatory compliance, and operational workflows including familiarity with EHS standards & logistics tools
- Ability to influence and build relationships without authority, from front-line agents to executive leadership
- Hunger to learn, able to connect with anyone and roll up your sleeves to do whatever is needed to help the team in a fast paced ever changing environment
- Exceptional customer service, educational, and communication skills (both written and oral) & comfortable navigating multiple internal systems, MS Office, and web-based applications
- Basic command of the English language
- Valid driver's license required
