Robot Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a Robot Technician to assist in programming, testing, and optimizing robotic systems for automation. The ideal candidate is passionate about robotics, eager to learn, and ready to apply programming and engineering principles to real-world applications.

Job Duties

• Assist in developing and modifying programs for industrial robots (e.g., Fanuc, ABB).
• Support debugging and troubleshooting of robotic systems to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Conduct simulations and offline programming to test robotic movements before deployment.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate robots with PLCs, sensors, and vision systems.
• Assist in configuring robotic controllers and optimizing cycle times for automation processes.
• Help analyze system performance data and suggest improvements.
• Maintain records of robot programs, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for robotic systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for robotic automation and safety compliance.
• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.).
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate degree, technical diploma, or certification in Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of industrial robotics and programming languages (e.g., RAPID, KRL, Fanuc TP, Python, or C++).
• Familiarity with PLC programming, vision systems, and automation technologies is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
