About the role
We are expanding our automation division to better serve our customers. Opportunity: We are seeking an Automation Service Technician.
Responsibilities
- Install automated cells
- Field service support on robots and components of the automated cells
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical systems
- Work in a state-of-the-art technical facility at our new NA Headquarters in Elk Grove, IL
- Work with Nachi Robotics
- Install automation cells on world class products from Brother Industries, Takisawa Machine Tools and Matsuura Machine Tools
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical
- Ability to read part prints and schematics
- Experience with CNC machine tools or robotic cells
- Robot programming is a plus
- Experience with machine tool integration and robotic systems
- Solid organization and prioritization skills
- A strong work ethic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Willing to travel out of state on business
Skills
