Robot Service Technician Assistant - PT (Miami)

About the role

HireArt is helping our client hire a motivated, entry-level Robot Service Technician Assistant to support the daily operations, maintenance, and preparations of delivery robots. This part-time and weekend-based role is the perfect starting point for individuals looking to build a career in robotics and electro‑mechanical assembly. You will ensure the fleet is ready for deployment while learning foundational skills needed to advance in the rapidly growing industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare robots for the shift: ensure all hardware and software are ready for daily deployment.
• Put robots/batteries on chargers for the night: manage power cycles to ensure maximum fleet readiness.
• Cleaning robots: maintain physical appearance and protect sensitive external hardware.
• Perform mechanical repairs: assist with and execute basic repairs on the robot fleet.
• Perform service campaigns: help implement widespread hardware or software updates across the fleet.
• Assist remote support coordinators: act as the hands‑on field contact for the remote tracking team.
• Perform calibrations and wheel alignment: ensure sensors and chassis components are properly tuned for safe navigation.
• Keep workshop clean and tidy: maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workspace for the entire technical team.

Requirements

• Comfortable working in varied field environments.
• Ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds safely.
• Strong attention to detail and a logical approach to problem‑solving.
• Team‑oriented mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Skills

• General computer literacy.
• Introductory background or interest in electric vehicle (EV) service, automotive repair, or electronics.

Pay

Expected compensation: $23.00 – $25.00 USD per hour.

Schedule

Part‑time, ongoing contract position; weekend‑based; onsite; located in Miami, FL area.
