Robot Delivery Technician

You’ll be at the heart of Coco’s mission, ensuring our delivery robots are assembled, maintained, and deployed with precision. From hands-on repairs to diagnostic testing, this role is both technical and dynamic. You'll work closely with the engineering and operations teams to maintain peak robot performance while also providing critical feedback that helps shape future hardware improvements. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves solving problems, and takes pride in getting things right the first time.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and inspect robots for each shift
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Collaborate with engineers to test new functionalities
- Deploy and support robot fleets across active markets
- Conduct routine inspections and log performance data
Basic Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in robotics, electronics, bike shops, or similar environments
- 2+ years of technical experience in diagnostics, repair, or maintenance
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent technical experience in robotics or engineering
- Experience with semi-autonomous robotic systems
- Skilled in diagnostic tools and performance tracking
- Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets for reporting
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
