We need to output HTML fragment with sections for headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Use

for each heading. Only include sections that have real specific content. The posting includes: About Us, About Roamly, About The Role (description), Key Responsibilities & Deliverables (list), Who You Are (requirements), What You'll Bring (skills/attributes), Benefits (Compensation & Benefits). Also mentions Preference for location, remote opportunity. No explicit Pay section separate from Benefits? Benefits includes compensation details: base salary range, equity, benefits. So we can have a Benefits section that includes compensation details. Pay could be separate but we have compensation in Benefits; we could still make Pay section if we want but rule: only include if posting actually states them. It does state base salary range, equity, benefits. So we could have Pay section for salary, and Benefits for other benefits. But we need to avoid duplication. Let's parse: - About the role: we have "About The Role" paragraph. That's a section heading. - Responsibilities: "Key Responsibilities & Deliverables" with bullet points. - Requirements: "Who You Are" includes ACAS/FCAS, experience, etc. - Qualifications: maybe "What You'll Bring" includes skills/attributes. - Skills: could be part of What You'll Bring (technical skills). Could combine. - Benefits: "Compensation & Benefits:" includes base salary, equity, comprehensive benefits, culture, work-life balance. - Pay: maybe separate salary info; but we already have in Benefits. Could still create Pay section with base salary range and equity. But rule: prefer few substantive sections over many thin ones. Might combine Pay and Benefits into one Benefits section. However they asked to use headings for Benefits, Pay, Schedule separately if content exists. Since we have compensation details, we could put them under Pay. Then Benefits could be other benefits (medical, 401k, PTO, culture). But the posting lumps them together under "Compensation & Benefits". It might be okay to have a single Benefits section that includes compensation and other benefits. The instruction: "Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." So they expect those headings possibly. We need to include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it. So we need to decide if we have content for Pay and Benefits separately. The posting gives base salary range, equity, comprehensive benefits (medical, 401k, PTO), culture, work-life balance. That's both pay and benefits. Could split: Pay: base salary range and equity. Benefits: medical, 401k, PTO, culture, work-life balance. That seems reasonable. Schedule: no mention of schedule (hours, remote? remote opportunity but not schedule). So we omit Schedule. Also we need to include About Us? Not required as heading; we can ignore as not in list. The page already shows job title; we don't repeat. We need to remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO etc. Not present. We need to preserve all substantive information. So include all details from About The Role, Responsibilities, Who You Are, What You'll Bring, Benefits (compensation etc). Also maybe include location preference and remote opportunity under About the role or maybe a separate section? Not in headings list; could be part of About the role paragraph. We'll keep it there. Now produce HTML:

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Insurance Programs, the Actuary is the analytical engine behind Roamly's program portfolio. You will build and maintain the pricing, reserving, and performance analysis that tells us how each program is actually doing — and you'll be in the room when those numbers turn into decisions about rate, appetite, and whether a new program gets built. This is a high-visibility seat at a rapidly growing company. You won't be handed a narrow slice of a large actuarial department's workflow. You'll touch loss cost modeling, rate indications, reserve reviews, carrier and reinsurance submissions, filing support, and the reporting that goes to executive leadership and carrier partners. When we launch a new program, you'll help build the rating structure from scratch and then watch it earn out in real time. You'll work across P&C auto, carshare and rideshare, RV, and adjacent mobility lines, and you'll partner closely with Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Product, and Engineering. We also expect you to bring modern tooling to the work — automating recurring analyses and applying AI where it genuinely speeds up the cycle, rather than rebuilding the same spreadsheet every quarter. While a cover letter is not mandatory, for a role as nuanced as this, it might help us better understand your qualifications. Preference will be given to candidates in Austin, TX or San Francisco, CA. There is, however, an opportunity for a remote hire for those who meet 100% of the job criteria.

Responsibilities

  • New Program Development: Build initial rating structures and pricing models for new programs, including where internal data is thin and external benchmarks or judgment are required; Model program economics — expected loss ratio, commission structure, fronting costs, and profitability under different scenarios; Support implementation by validating rating logic in production systems before launch.
  • Program Performance Reporting: Produce the recurring loss ratio, frequency, severity, and trend reporting that drives monthly and quarterly program reviews; Build and maintain dashboards that give Underwriting and leadership a current view of portfolio performance without waiting on a request; Investigate emerging trends and adverse development, and translate findings into a clear recommendation rather than a chart.
  • Carrier & Reinsurance Support: Prepare the loss data, exhibits, and experience analysis that go into carrier submissions, renewal proposals, and reinsurance placements; Support bordereaux accuracy, delegated authority reporting, and carrier audit requests.
  • Pricing & Rate Analysis: Build and maintain rate indications, loss cost models, and rate level analyses across the program portfolio; Support segmentation and risk selection analysis; identify which segments are performing, which aren't, and what the rate response should be; Perform competitive and market analysis to test pricing adequacy and positioning; Prepare rate, rule, and form filing exhibits and supporting actuarial materials; respond to regulator objections.
  • Underwriting Partnership: Provide analytical support on underwriting referrals, account-level pricing questions, and appetite decisions; Help maintain and refine underwriting guidelines with data behind the thresholds.

Requirements

  • ACAS, FCAS, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of P&C actuarial experience, ideally in personal or commercial auto, specialty, or program business
  • Strong technical foundation in ratemaking, loss reserving, and trend analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills plus working proficiency in SQL and at least one of Python or R
  • Experience building reports or dashboards in a BI tool (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar)
  • Comfortable working with imperfect, incomplete, or newly created data — and honest about the resulting uncertainty
  • Able to explain an analysis clearly to underwriters, executives, and carrier partners who are not actuaries
  • Experience with insurtech, MGA, or program business is a plus
  • Exposure to rate filings and state regulatory processes is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related quantitative field

Skills

  • Genuine curiosity about why a number moved, and the persistence to chase it down
  • Bias toward automating recurring work instead of repeating it
  • Strong attention to detail with the judgment to know when precision matters and when speed matters more
  • Comfort in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and limited precedent
  • Collaborative style — willing to sit with underwriters and claims adjusters to understand the business behind the data
  • Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to summarize a complex analysis in a paragraph

Pay

Base salary range: $125,000 to $150,000 DOE; Opportunity to earn equity compensation.

Benefits

  • 100% company-paid medical premiums for employees
  • 401(k) match
  • Flexible PTO
  • Catered lunches, happy hours, and team-building events at Austin, TX or San Francisco, CA HQ
  • Marketplace discounts
  • Culture that values the balance between work and adventure
We omitted Schedule. Check that we didn't repeat job title. Good. We preserved all substantive info: About Us and About Roamly not needed per headings; we omitted them. That's okay because they are not required headings; but we might lose some info about company. However instruction: "Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail." The About Us and About Roamly are substantive. Should we include them? The headings list does not include About Us or About Roamly, but we could include them as

without heading? The instruction says use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid other headings, but says use

for section headings (e.g. ...). It might be okay to include other headings but they gave examples. However they said "Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." That implies those are the expected headings. They didn't say we cannot have other headings, but to be safe we could embed About Us and About Roamly as a

before the About the role section, without a heading. That would preserve info. Let's do that: a brief paragraph summarizing About Us and Roamly. We need to preserve all substantive info: The About Us and About Roamly paragraphs. We'll combine them into a

before About the role. Let's craft:

The Ride Platform Inc. is the parent company of Outdoorsy, Ride, Wheelbase, and Roamly, focused on the ride transaction and building end‑to‑end infrastructure for the Operator Economy. Roamly is a leading provider of specialty insurance for the modern mobility and marketplace travel economy, a Lloyd's Coverholder and AI‑first innovator that uses AI, automation, and embedded distribution to deliver tailored coverage for RVs, carsharing, and other emerging mobility models.

Then About the role section. Now ensure we didn't miss any details: The About The Role paragraph includes everything. Good. Check responsibilities: we captured all bullet points but we combined some into single li items; we need to ensure we didn't lose any detail. Let's verify each bullet from original: New Program Development: - Build initial rating structures and pricing models for new programs, including where internal data is thin and external benchmarks or judgment are required - Model program economics — expected loss ratio, commission structure, fronting costs, and profitability under different scenarios - Support implementation by validating rating logic in production systems before launch We combined into one li with semicolons. That's okay. Program Performance Reporting: - Produce the recurring loss ratio, frequency, severity, and trend reporting that drives monthly and quarterly program reviews - Build and maintain dashboards that give Underwriting and leadership a current view of portfolio performance without waiting on a request - Investigate emerging trends and adverse development, and translate findings into a clear recommendation rather than a chart
