Responsibilities
- Aid in the design and creation of DOT, turnpike, county, and municipal transportation projects.
- Support the project manager in all phases of transportation project design, including roadway design, bridge design, drainage, and traffic control.
- Lead, guide, and instruct production staff.
- Create and assist with project proposals, interviews, and client presentations.
- Attend client meetings to ensure the design aligns with their needs and objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 1-5 years of experience in DOT, municipal, and county-related transportation projects.
- Prior experience in roadway and/or bridge design.
- Experience with Civil 3D and/or MicroStation products (OpenRoads, InRoads, or Geopak) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Preferred PE license in Oklahoma (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe).
- Knowledge of local standards and requirements is preferred.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent in presentation, written communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Able to work under pressure, make decisions independently, demonstrate good business judgment, and handle confidential information responsibly.
