Roadside Technician Commercial Tires (Paid Training)- Sikeston, MO

The role

An emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets.

Responsibilities

• Dispatched to customer locations to repair or change tires when a tire-related failure occurs.
• Help mount orders, clean and organize the shop, and perform other general duties as needed during non-service call periods.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Previous commercial service tire experience is preferred.

Skills

• Servicing commercial tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including proper PPE, use of tire cages, and following all safety policies and procedures.

$19 (will train) - $25 (experienced) hourly.

Schedule

Example Shift: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Friday
Rotating On Call - After Hours Service Call - Guaranteed Two Hour Minimum & Double Pay (per call)
