Road Service Mechanic $25 -$36/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose services through proficient use of electronic equipment
• Analyze equipment malfunctions and administer the proper corrective action
• Ensure repair orders are completed accurately including use of current parts and manufacturer updates and changes of vehicle/equipment requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
• Overtime (more than 40 hours per week) may be required at times as business needs dictates
• In depth knowledge and understanding of hydraulics, electrical systems, and diesel engines

Education & Specialized Knowledge

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid Driver's License and safe driving record required
• Current CDL license with air brake preferred but not required
• 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance required

Physical Requirements

• Must meet physical requirements for the job, including the ability to lift, carry and maneuver items up to 70 lbs, including bulky objects
• These positions require repeated reaching, standing, stooping, kneeling, bending and onto and under a variety of equipment
• Must be able to work outside in inclement weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, dampness and humidity
