Mechanic- Full-Time - $24/HR

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of assigned rides and attractions
• Perform rehab work on theme park rides and attractions
• Maintain, erect, repair and trouble-shoot various theme park rides and attractions
• Visually inspect and listen to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions
• Remove and/or replace worn or defective parts using hand and/or power tools
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on various equipment including rides and attractions
• Keep a daily duty log of maintenance work performed as well as accurate records of preventative maintenance

Qualifications

• Practical skill and proficient knowledge in two or more trades, such as: mechanical, electrical, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, carpentry, welding and small combustion engine repair and maintenance
• Strong mechanical, electrical & hydraulic experience
• Strong safety sensitivity & ability to work with many different types of mechanical devises
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the primary job duties, including climbing and working at heights up to and in excess of 150ft., crawling and working in confined spaces and lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures
• Able to operate hand tools and motor vehicles
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be 18 years or older
