Road Service Diesel Technician

About the role

Myles Truck Repair offers full-time positions with multiple shifts available. Shifts include Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4 PM, 12 PM - 8 PM, 2 PM - 10 PM, 6 AM - 4 PM, 8 AM - 6 PM, and Thursday - Sunday 6 AM - 4 PM. Pay ranges from $21.00 to $42.00 per hour, with potential for additional earnings through performance-based pay.

Responsibilities

• Responding to roadside calls and performing mobile repair services for heavy trucks and trailers.
• Diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, A/C systems, brake systems, electrical systems, emissions, and air systems in the field.
• Performing mobile PM services and safety inspections as required.
• Accurately completing work orders, service reports, and customer documentation.
• Using company-provided specialty tools, diagnostic programs, and service truck equipment.
• Maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism with every customer interaction.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of diesel engine repair experience (Required).
• 3+ years of general mechanical experience (Required).
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mobile service work.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in varied environments.
• Reliable and punctual with strong communication skills (English required).
• Basic computer skills for work order and diagnostic software.
• Own your own tools (required).
• Factory-trained certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Must be able to pass a MVR check.
