Road Maintenance Technician

About the Role

We are looking for a hardworking, eager Road Maintenance Foreman to join our team. The primary responsibility is leading the crew for concrete, blacktop, and sealcoating teams. The ideal candidate will work autonomously, observe all health and safety guidelines, and take pride in delivering high standards of service to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise road maintenance crews.
• Operate and maintain equipment used for cement and asphalt maintenance.
• Perform cement and asphalt road maintenance, including sidewalk and curb repairs.
• Assist in hot patching and overlaying roads.
• Operate vehicles and equipment to haul materials, accounting for materials used in accordance with regulations.
• Perform heavy manual tasks for extended periods, including during inclement weather conditions.
• Travel from time to time as required.
• Use power tools and hand tools effectively.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with road maintenance technology or a relevant field (preferred).
• Physically capable of manual labor, including lifting, bending, and reaching.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with equipment operations, hauling equipment, and maintaining equipment.
• Mechanically inclined with knowledge of general maintenance processes and tools.
• Pass a negative drug test.
