RNFA- CVOR, PRN

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and other perioperative services for all patient populations.
• Function as an RN first assistant during operative and other invasive procedures and throughout the perioperative continuum in accordance with scope of practice credentials, privileges, experience, education, and competency verification.
• At times deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR in the role of an RN circulator.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from a nursing program
• Required and Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, which includes didactic and clinical components
• Required Work Experience: 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience
• Required 3 years minimum experience of as an RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR, if working in the CVOR
• Licenses and Certifications: RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure, Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License Required andCNOR - Certified Operating Room RN if applicable Required andCRNFA - Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant Required andBCLS - Basic Life Support Required andACLS Required andPALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required
