About the Role

Medcor is seeking a PRN (as-needed) Registered Nurse, BSN to serve as an Onsite Health Nurse in an employer-based, occupational health clinic located in a modern, global pharma facility in Marlborough, MA. The clinic operates one day a week on Wednesdays, with no guaranteed hours. This role offers flexibility for those available to pick up occasional shifts.

Compensation starts at $46/hr, with opportunities for higher pay based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on-site clinic.
• Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees.
• Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses using Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols - MCPs).
• Build and maintain internal team relationships.
• Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
• Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings.
• Document care using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools.
• Perform case management, medical charting, and OSHA record-keeping.

Requirements

• Valid licensure for the position (Registered Nurse).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong computer and technology skills (e.g., cell phones, texting, fax machines, EMR software).
• Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive, outgoing personality with a passion for patient care.
• Willingness to go above and beyond in your role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a worksite clinic environment.
• Relevant occupational health experience.
• Experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
