About the role

Provides care that is individualized and meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of residents. Offers leadership and guidance to CNAs and LPNs, ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations.

• Obtains and transcribes all written and telephone orders promptly, ensuring telephone order forms are complete.
• Notifies physician and responsible party of changes in resident status.
• Completes all new admissions paperwork timely, including nursing assessment.
• Prepares and administers medications and treatments as needed.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of Medical/Surgical, Rehab, or Geriatric Nursing experience.
• Current Maryland Registered Nurse License.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Long-term care background preferred.

Schedule

• PRN, Day Shift (Every Other Weekend).
• PRN, Evening Shift (Every Other Weekend).

Pay

$42.50 - $52.32 an hour, plus a $3/hour PRN premium. This position may be eligible for a shift differential depending upon schedule.
