About the role

The Endoscopy Center is a specialized outpatient setting focusing on EGD’s and Colonoscopies. AHN, a 9-hospital system part of Highmark Health, prioritizes patient care and fosters a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides transformational leadership and participates in shaping the future of healthcare.
• Assigns or delegates tasks based on patient needs and staff capabilities.
• Maintains a safe environment and intervenes promptly when necessary.
• Shares knowledge with peers and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams.
• Evaluates clinical care and promotes patient safety initiatives.
• Supervises LPNs and ensures appropriate delegation of tasks.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Affords patients and families a voice in care planning and satisfaction.
• Manages time effectively and resolves patient concerns.

Qualifications

• Current State of Pennsylvania RN license or multi-state license through eNLC.
• CPR certification.
• Completed criminal background clearances.
• Possession of preferred certifications in specialty areas.

Skills

Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in the nursing process and ability to manage multiple tasks are required.
