RN - Wound Care Certified - Days

Role: Registered Nurse - Certified Wound/Ostomy, responsible for delivering specialized nursing care in inpatient and outpatient settings. Key Responsibilities: Serve as an expert resource for complex wound and ostomy care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide patient and family education. Demonstrate clinical leadership, support staff development through training and mentorship, and ensure quality care across all age groups. Participate in policy implementation, clinical standards evaluation, and crisis management. Adapt care based on patient developmental stages and needs. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an approved nursing program, Illinois licensure, Wound Care Certification, minimum four years of clinical experience (preferably in critical care), and current CPR certification. Strong clinical knowledge, leadership abilities, teamwork, and communication skills are essential. Key Duties: Assess, plan, and implement patient care; interpret policies; support staff orientation and training; and uphold hospital standards. Flexibility to work across inpatient and outpatient areas is required.
