RN - Women's Health Phone Triage

About the Role

Performs as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Mercy Virtual triage program, adhering to all applicable Federal, State, and Mercy rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Duties include education and care coordination as assigned by the Medical Director in the vAcute program, which provides 24-hour care. Specialty may be OBGYN or Pediatrics.

Provides professional nursing care to patients within the medical practice, supporting physicians in patient treatment and completing related clinical paperwork. Integrates Mercy’s philosophy of caring for the sick and suffering, respecting human life and dignity, and applying Christian values to all responsibilities.

This is a full-time, hybrid position located at Mercy Clinic, 12855 N Outer 40 Road, with a 40-hour work week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care to patients under the direction of physicians.
• Assist physicians in patient treatment and complete related clinical paperwork.
• Perform duties in the vAcute program, including education and care coordination.
• Maintain a caring, friendly, personal, and professional approach in all communications with patients, families, visitors, and employees.
• Adhere to Mercy’s values and integrate them into daily responsibilities.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
