RN Weekender Flex - Neuro Transitional Care Stepdown
About the role
Cleveland Clinic’s new Neurological Institute, opening in 2026, will be a state‑of‑the‑art facility for high‑acuity patients with brain tumors, strokes, and complex spine injuries. The institute includes a 210‑bed inpatient area with private rooms featuring floor‑to‑ceiling windows, modular spaces, patient‑monitoring video technology, a “touchdown” workspace with computers between every two rooms, and lavender rooms for caregiver decompression. Nurses are essential to the care team, and we are seeking Inpatient RNs to join the M80 Neuro Transitional Care Unit, which provides stepdown and intermediate care for neurological med/surg patients, performs complex procedures (e.g., intracranial pressure monitoring, seizure monitoring, lumbar punctures, central/arterial line placements), and promotes early patient mobility using ceiling lifts and other safety equipment.
